day 29: sculpt. completed.
day 30: ... completed. so i tried cardio 3/4. i lasted about 15 mins into it before i got too tired to go any further. shortly before trying 3/4, i walked a mile with leslie sansone's fat burning walk. my weight has not changed as a i hoped by day 30. i think i only managed to drop 1 freakin' pound. i think my eating needs to change and i need to add more cardio. i will only add 30 mins more cardio to power90's cardio. so this week i'm going back to what i've tried before when losing weight.
i'm going to eat:
oatmeal
cereal (apple cinnamon cheerios, reese's puffs, frosted flakes, lucky charms)
hot pockets
boudain and funyuns
canned juices (since they are portioned it's easy for me not to drink a whole 2 liter)
nachos
fruits (apples, grapes, oranges, bananas)
that's about all. i'm going to avoid any potatoes and once in a while have fried shrimp.
let's see how this week goes!!

wow. im almost 1/3 of the way done with the program. counting down seems like it goes faster than counting up. 64 days to go! cardio and abs were good today.
walmart's evil scale
i went by walmart yesterday to check my weight. i got on the scale. it read 198! there is no way i only lost 1 lb after all this time. i feel like i should have lost more. i think that scale is busted. last summer i got on scales at walmart. after a few weeks of exercising upwards of 45 mins daily, the scale read the same weight or even more. that's a downright misleading reading! crappy scales!!
my legs feel like they've gotten a bit muscular.

20th day! this journey i've been traveling is a long one. it's quick yet long. it's enjoyable yet sparks my curiousity if i actually enjoy it. my answer to that is i love it! i don't see any big results yet. as i mentioned a few days, i think my thighs are somewhat smaller and my gut seems to have lost some of its roll. i could be imagining such things. i think i'm feeling guilty about how i eat. i stay away from most sweets. my downfalls are juices. i still cannot stand water!

cardio + abs! sweat, sweat, sweat. i changed the post's time but i didn't start until 1:30 am (on monday). i need to start going to sleep early. i went to bed last night at 5 am! i need to get out of that habit again. well, i gotta go now. it's already 3 am and i haven't taken my bath since i worked out. ciao! i'm about to hit the sack.

t minus 73. wow, day 30 is just around the corner. it doesn't seem so close. i got a new resistance band today. i decided to move up to a medium resistance band. man, it felt so good to ache a little when using it! :)

14: wednesday. day off. nothing eventful.
15: my resistance band broke during the workout. i think i will switch to dumbbells to avoid a future situation like that again. i resorted to using a filled downy bottles (103 fl oz is roughly 6.4 lbs). it was ok. i felt a small burn but nothing like the resistance band or real dumbbells can do.

7-7-3. how's that for improvement on continuous reps? very good. i paused the tape after the last three push ups to catch my breath. i didn't sweat too much this time around on sculpt.

almost 2 weeks are up. i remember when i was counting down to the first week. this second week has definitely gone by faster. two more days then i rest again.
monday = sculpt
tuesday = cardio + abs
wednesday = REST! :)
the good news is i can usually sustain each workout. cardio felt so good today. i like wiping sweat from my forehead.

can i have your at10tion (attention)?
there was another interruption merely seconds before i began my workout. why does this continue to happen? i feel like i've grown an obsession with the workout. lol i can't miss one minutes without feeling off. the good news is that i did complete the workout shortly after my company left.
day 10 is down. 90-10 = 80. tomorrow begins day 79. this process seems a little fast. my weight seems the same especially around my belly. i think i need to go back to eating 2 bowls of cereal and a nice dinner. that's what worked for me once, that's what should work again. i got somewhat out of control with the recent holiday. :)

Proof: 4th = 9!
How can 4 equal 9? July 4th is the 9th day of p90 for me! Wow! I am now a mathematical genius. Please credit all theory/proof to deputybuck.
Man, I tore up on some bbq today. I started the grill at 9:30 am because the weather looked like it was going to rain. Indeed, it did rain. It rained for about 10 minutes every 3 hours or so throughout the day. I made grilled hamburgers (yummy with mccormick seasoning), boudain, sausages and a special sauce! All of it was great. Yum! I might just become a grill master. (Plus I got a good deal on the grill at Walmart. It was an unbelievable $9.92!)
So, the workout was definitely great too. Sweat, sweat, sweat! Ab ripper 100 is becoming a bit too easy. I think I'll switch to the 3-4 series within the 30 day marker. But only time can tell.
Man, I'm hungry now. I gotta go put something in this growling belly before it eats itself!

8 the great (july 3)
it was another superbusy day for me. errands to run left and right. i didn't start my workout until 10:30 pm! and my eating? i barely ate one thing today. i had a few sun chips, half a block of ramen noodles, and a few sips of juice while on the go. :( one moment i felt really weak.
i started this week with sculpt. i only took one pause and that was to do 7-7-7 push ups. other than that, i was able to complete the whole workout continuously. my stamina is definitely improving. i got a scale during a late night walmart rendezvous. guess what it read? 199! dang. reality is hitting me hard. this time last year it read the same. something's not right with walmart's scales...i dunno.

today is my off day. i am resting. the one thing on my mind is what dvd will i do tomorrow: sculpt or cardio? i think i will start with sculpt. cardio was the last thing i did before today.

on the 6th day
wow, tomorrow makes a week of p90. tomorrow is also a resting day. but today! today was something.
i went to bed around 3:30 am. i was already headed for bed at 3 am but i got a text message. i was "getting my sleep on" for about five hours when i hear a weed eater next to my window. i'm a light sleeper so i immediately woke up. for the next two hours, the combination of a hair dryer (i don't know why any hair dryer was being used. only myself and two men were home) and the weed eater kept me semi-awake. to top everything off, i had to run errands before i started my workout. let's just say i woke up at 12:54 pm. i usually wake up around 11 am to eat breakfast. my workouts usually start at 2 pm. that didn't happen today. my workout did not start until 7 pm! i had 16 minutes left to complete my workout before i was interrupted by someone at the doorbell. yup...my heart rate slowed and i had to jog around for a minute to get it back up.
what an interesting day. the best part about all of it is that i completed the workout regardless of the many obstacles!
yesterday, i went to a restaurant with an aunt and i got a small ice cream. i forgot i was supposed to watch what i ate. oh well. a small treat once in a while doesn't hurt. but i did get a big azz potato for dinner because it was getting old and i had a small cup of gumbo. :p
