yadda yadda. t minus 86.
sculpt was mostly a breeze again. 7-7-7 pushups are challenging. i pause the tape to finish them on my own pace. well, there's one more day before a rest. i don't even feel like a need a rest. the workouts go pretty quickly.
on a side note, i bought some clothes today. my waist is smaller (not results from p90) from a few months ago. so i wear a juniors 17. in high school, i could fit a 13. any smaller size would not pass my hips. i weighed roughly 145-155 back then. my stomach was not flat but it didn't hang out LOL. if there's any target size i would like to achieve soon, i'd like to see myself at a 13 then get smaller.

4 is a roar.
day 4. t minus 86. it's almost a week!
i can't believe i started this journey.
one late night i was flipping through some tv channels and i spotted an infomercial. of course, it was a p90x clip. it looked so exciting. i never watch tv. i think it had been at least two months since i've watched any cable longer than a few seconds. i was tired that night so i tried very hard to place the program's name into some temporary brain storage until the next day. i woke up the next morning and immediately researched p90x. well, that's how the story begins.
cardio + abs
so, i really did sweat a lot this time around. i think this workout really pumps me up. i've never felt sweatier since my spinning class nearly 1 1/2 years ago. i missed that class. it was an hour and a half long but p90's cardio gets me sweating at the same level much faster. :)
natural hair
these workouts definitely keep me from straightening my hair. i might kiss the chi goodbye (just kidding--i love it somedays). i do need to learn a hairstyle that'll look good for going around town during the day.

day 2
official p90 day! (i actually started working out on june 26 w/ p90x).
1. the warm-ups wear me out!
2. cardio was great. a few pauses here and there but i kept up for the most part.
3. i sailed straight through ab ripper 100. now that's my kinda ab workout. i usually
dread any ab workouts because my neck would hurt terribly. i know why that occurred. i had bad form and i wasn't breathing properly.
in the end, i'm loving the workout. i can't wait until tomorrow when i start the sculpting. my arms have always seemed like the body part with the most stamina (as long as i wasn't trying to hold my own weight lol!). my day 1 pics will be uploaded soon. here's to progress...and day 89! ciao!

day 1
So, yesterday was my first day doing p90x. I thought it was going to be really hard. I expected to lose my breath, and curl up into a ball of laziness. Did that happen? I think not! The most challenging aspect of the first workout (chest and back) was the beginning warm-up. Oh boy! The constant jumping and changing moves nearly wore me out. That was the biggest hurdle of all the hurdles, with three more notable exceptions. My two weaknesses were the pushups, particularly the miliary pushup, the wide arm pushup, and the near impossible dive pushup. I could only do one dive pushup--incorrectly at that! lol Well, I tried. In the long run, I think I'll have to start with p90 which should help me ease into p90x. Ab Ripper X squashed me flat in the first minute. :) Well, I can't wait to start on p90. I need to get some pics of myself too. In the meantime,
ciao!
